Hello Psychos, I hope this newsletter finds you well. Today I’m going to share an excerpt from the solo show I’ve been working on. It’s called, “I’M ON LITHIUM: A Comedic Journey About Bipolar Disorder.” I’m having a lot of fun trying to crack the code on this creative endeavor. I’m finding a lot of catharsis through attempting to make comedy out of literal insanity. Working on this project allows me to reframe very painful and embarrassing experiences into something healthy and healing. Having people laugh with me about all of the crazy shit that I’ve been through is such a gift. Using comedy to make other people feel less alone about their own mental health struggles makes me feel good about myself. It’s my little mission lol. Thanks for being part of it!
